Privacy Notice

1. Who we are

Find My Mood is operated by SOPOONG LTD ("we", "us", "our"), a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16764689, with its registered office at 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF.

SOPOONG LTD is the controller of the personal data described in this notice. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website and our product testing surveys, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

2. Product testing and surveys

From time to time we invite people to try products and share their views through a short online survey. This section applies to all of our product tests, not just a single product or brand.

Our product tests are open to adults aged 18 and over.

What we collect

• About you — general information such as your gender and age group.
• Your habits and preferences — for example, how often you use a type of product, where you usually buy it, what matters to you when choosing it, and your dietary or product preferences (such as what you mixed a product with).
• Your feedback — ratings, favourites, price expectations, how likely you would be to buy, and anything you choose to write in free-text answers.

Our current product testing surveys do not ask for your name or contact details, and they do not automatically record your email address or Google account.

We don't intentionally ask about your health, medical conditions, allergies or religious beliefs. Some questions let you answer in your own words, so please avoid including this kind of sensitive information. If you do include it, we will only use it to understand your feedback, we won't pass it on to anyone else, and we'll keep it only for the same period as your other answers. You can also ask us to delete it at any time.

Why we collect it and our lawful basis

• Survey answers — to understand what people think of the products we test, so we can decide which products to offer and how to present them. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: we have a genuine business interest in understanding customer views on products, and we only ask for what we need to do that. You can object at any time (see "Your rights" below).

Who sees your answers

Individual survey responses can only be accessed by a small number of authorised people who work on the product test. When we share results with the brands whose products you tried, we only share combined or anonymised findings that don't identify you.

Google Forms and Google Sheets

We run our surveys with Google Forms, and responses are saved to Google Sheets, using a standard Google account. Google provides these tools under its own terms and privacy policy. Google may store and process data on servers outside the UK, including in the United States.

How long we keep it

• Survey answers — up to 12 months after the survey closes. After that, we delete them or make them fully anonymous.

Asking us to delete your answers

You can ask us to delete your survey answers at any time by emailing hello@findmymood.com with the subject "Product testing data". Because our surveys don't collect your name or contact details, please tell us roughly when you took part, which product you tested and a few of your answers, so we can find your response. If we can't identify your answers, we'll let you know.

Invitations to future product testing

Our current surveys don't collect contact details. In future, a survey may include an optional section inviting you to take part in more product tests. If it does:

• we'll only collect your email address and/or Instagram handle if you choose to give them, and we'll only use them to contact you about product testing. We won't use them to send you general marketing unless you separately agree to receive it;
• our lawful basis will be your consent;
• we'll keep your details until you withdraw your consent, or 12 months after we last contacted you (or, if we haven't contacted you, 12 months after you gave us your details), whichever comes first;
• you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@findmymood.com or replying to any message we send you. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

3. Using this website and contacting us

• Enquiries — if you email us (for example, to introduce your brand or make a trade enquiry), we use your name, email address and message to reply. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to you and running our business. We keep general enquiries for 24 months after our last correspondence.
• Business records — if an enquiry leads to a business relationship, such as supplying or stocking products, we keep related correspondence and records for as long as that relationship continues, and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example, for accounting and tax purposes) or as needed to deal with any legal claims.
• Shop updates — when our Shop sign-up opens, we'll use the email address you give us to tell you when Shop launches, based on your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

This website doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. When you close our cookie notice, your browser saves that choice and the date so the notice doesn't appear again. This is stored only on your device and isn't sent to us.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we'll update this notice and ask for your consent first.

5. Who we share data with

We use the following services to run Find My Mood. Each only receives the information needed to provide its service:

• Google — Google Forms and Google Sheets, for our surveys.
• Namecheap — Private Email, which hosts our email inbox (hello@findmymood.com).
• Vercel — our website host, which may process technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages securely.
• Instagram (Meta) — if you give us your Instagram handle, we'll contact you through Instagram. Meta handles those messages under its own privacy policy.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. We don't sell personal data. We may disclose data if the law requires us to.

6. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your data;
• ask us to restrict how we use your data;
• object to how we use your data where we rely on legitimate interests;
• ask us to transfer data you gave us, based on consent, to you or another organisation;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, email hello@findmymood.com. We'll reply within one month. There is usually no charge.

We don't make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.

If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us before you go to the ICO.

8. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when we last changed it. If we make a significant change, such as using your data for a new purpose, we'll tell you before it takes effect where we can.
