Our philosophy
Every product here is something we'd genuinely tell a friend about. Not a curated shelf built for margin — a list built the way you'd be excited to share with someone you care about.
If we wouldn't put it on our shelf, in our bathroom, on our desk — it doesn't belong here. The bar is simple: would we actually want to keep this for a long time — and would it bring a little joy?
The final test: would we be happy to give this as a gift to someone we care about? Or tell someone we love to buy this? Not as a professional endorsement — as a genuine, personal recommendation with no agenda behind it.
How this started
The things we bring to Find My Mood are the same things we'd put in our own spaces, use in our own routines, and tell our friends about over coffee. Not because we're in the business of selling them — but because we genuinely believe they make everyday life feel a little joyful.
Find My Mood didn't start as a business plan. It started the moment a friend asked what I was using — and I found myself genuinely excited to tell them. Not just about the product, but where to get it, why I loved it, and why I'd already bought it as a gift.
After 18 years in busy corporate life across Asia and Europe — countless business trips, late nights, early flights — a little shopping after a long day became its own kind of joy. Not luxury shopping. The quiet kind: something famous only in that city, something worth testing, something worth bringing home. A lip balm. A herbal candy. A pillow spray. Small things that made the journey feel a little more like living.
When I loved something, I got it for friends and family too. That instinct — to share what's good, not sell it — is what Find My Mood is built on. After all those small discoveries across all those cities, one thing became clear: the most durable connections are built on genuine trust, not pitch. People trust people who've actually been where they are.
That's all this is, really. Finding good things. Bringing them closer. Passing them on.
I spent 18 years building relationships in enterprise — learning that the only thing that lasts is genuine trust. Find My Mood is that same instinct, applied to the brands and products I actually love.
Our process
We find brands through personal use, travel, peer recommendation, and events like Maison & Objet — not through inbound pitches or PR. It's like a little treasure hunt!
We use the product ourselves — in real life, over real time. No PR samples reviewed in a week. It earns its place by actually being good. We don't want to add more to your space — this should be good enough to replace something you've already got. We don't need more. We just need a good one.
We learn the brand's story, values, and supply chain. If the product is good but the brand doesn't hold up, it doesn't make it. It's all about alignment!
We bring it to the right audience — in the UK, EU, or Korea — with the full story of why we chose it. Not a product listing. A proper introduction to our friends.
What we are — and aren't
We don't carry hundreds of brands. We don't chase trending products. We don't take gifted items in exchange for placement.
We carry a small number of brands we genuinely stand behind. Every product has a story. Every recommendation is real.
We're not a reseller chasing margins. We build real relationships with our brand partners — and those relationships show in the quality of what we bring.
Korea ⇄ UK ⇄ Europe. The right brand, to the right audience, with the right introduction.
Our mission
Find My Mood is a Curated Commerce Platform — discovering Korean and global lifestyle brands and connecting them with consumers in the UK, Europe, and beyond. We don't just sell products. We find the story, build the trust, and make the introduction.
